Your Questions
Answered.
Some common questions we get on the regular. Always remember to reach out if you have any questions not answered here, we would love to hear from you!
-
Due to the intimate and private nature of the studio, we ask that you refrain from bringing guests to your appointment. (unless its Harper)
-
Due to the vision of this business being all about hair health and growth, we do not offer extensive blonding services, bleach and tones or fashion color.
-
Yourself! but I also always welcome you to bring your work and anything to keep you comfortable, especially for longer extension appointments. We do have a client tablet to order food (complimentary for new installs or added to your bill for other services) as well as music selections, movies or kindle reading. Also I love taking before and after photos of clients, feel free to bring your makeup for a touch up if you want as well, and wear neutral clothing.

While I am still currently accepting clients, it is on a case by case basis. The salon has an application process to ensure that your hair goals align with our services offered and that we are a great fit for one another. Occasionally when booking becomes too far post dated, a waitlist will be enacted until room becomes available.
Salon
Etiquette
First and foremost, get ready to relax! We encourage you to dress cozy and come as you are. Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment to allow for suite cleaning and turn over between guests. If you’re running late, please let us know!
We know stuff happens but we also want to make sure you’re ok! Lastly we recommend always pre-booking your appointment before you leave in order to ensure that you can be seen for your return appointment in a timely manner. xo.
Cancellation Policy
We know life happens, here’s what to know for when it happens to you.
Sol Society has a 48 hour cancellation policy. Due to the length of most extension and color appointments, we see approximately two guests a day and last minute cancellations mean that we can’t fill half of our day from the waitlist or notify clients who are wanting in earlier. We really appreciate your understanding on this matter and of course understand that there are emergencies that can be evaluated on a case by case basis. Please see below for our specific policy on no-shows, last minute cancels, rescheduling and running late.
The Rules
Cancellations before 48 hours: no fee
Cancellations between 24-48 hours: 50% of scheduled service
Cancellations within 24 hours: fee of 100% of scheduled service.
All fees will need to be paid in full before rebooking.
01
Cancellations
Sol Society sends out reminder texts and emails so we hope this never happens but in the event that it does, 100% of the scheduled missed service will be due before rebooking will be possible. 2 no-shows will result in the termination of all future appointment possibilities.
02
No-Show Policy
We are always happy to reschedule your appointment outside of 48 hours. Please know that rescheduling can often result in postponing your appointment multiple weeks due to availability. Chronic rescheduling (3+ times) can result in the termination of future appointment possibilities.
03
Rescheduling
We get it! it happens. Please notify your service provider as soon as you know that you are running behind. Know that Sol Society reserves the right to reschedule your appointment if running more than 20 minutes late. Chronic lateness could result in the termination of future appointment possibiities.
